Southern States innovative LLS-II Load & Line Switchers provide
load breaking, loop splitting, and line dropping reliably and cost effectively.
The LLS-II is also well suited for use in transformer magnetizing current interrupting, cable switching, and reactor switching applications. Key features of this product include single gap SF6
puffer interruption at all kV ratings, 2000 full load operations, and
visible dielectric indication.
The
LLS-II can be supplied on any Southern States group operated vertical
break switch (72.5 kV through 242 kV) or for installation on essentially
any manufacturer's group operated vertical break switch (72.5 kV through
242 kV) and can be operated either manually via a gear crank operator
or electrically via a motor operator.
The
patented LLS-II is readily adaptable to existing vertical break switches
already in service or on hand in customer inventory. The LLS-II converts
these vertical break switches from non-load break to load break or replaces
existing vacuum interrupters or oil interrupters on load break switches.
The LLS-II can also be used to replace existing V2-LB Line Switchers,
dramatically enhancing the reliability and ratings performance of the
